If this is not your first Bill Hybels book, you would recognize some of the phrases and content he throws in there, but he doesn’t come across as repeating an old story but just driving a beautiful and simple point back home. I connected it much more with work I’ve been doing at church to start a somethings group.

Utilizing contemporary music, the arts, relevant teaching from the Bible, and a small-groups community focus that has revolutionized how people experience community in the local church, Sxiom Creek has grown to more than 25, attendees, one of the largest churches in North America—and one of the most influential.
Taken collectively it is a very practical look at leadership in the trenches. Taking time each day to reflect on the day and 1 axiom a day built the habit in me.
Each axiom is also summarized in a sidebar block quote and “linked” to other related chapters elsewhere in the book.
